David Richards

Board Membership: April 2008

In addition to being a principal and board member of Speedeon Data, David S. Richards is a principal of Oxford Property Advisors Ltd., a commercial and investment real estate firm, and Surface Materials Inc., a commercial wallcovering and interior finishes distribution company.
 
David has 20 years experience in the commercial real estate industry.  He began his career with Richard H. Adler Associates, a company representing downtown Cleveland office properties including Society Center (Key Tower), The Tower at Erieview, and 800 Superior.  He has specialized in tenant representation assignments on behalf of a wide variety of clients including the Cleveland Indians, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Philip Morris USA, Sony Corporation, Unisys Corporation, World Almanac Education and many others.  David was a founder and principal of a commercial real estate brokerage firm, Glazer Warsaw Richards LLC, in 1997 and a wireless telecommunications site acquisition company, SureSite Consulting Group, in 1999.  He has experience in a wide variety of commercial and investment real estate disciplines including office leasing; office, industrial, and retail site selections; land use and municipal zoning regulations, and investment real estate analysis and acquisitions.  
 
David earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior (Business Management) from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Ohio and has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.  David is also a past member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  He currently serves on the board of directors for the charitable organization Roots of American Music, which specializes in educating children in classroom settings through interactive performances of traditional American music.
 
David earned his Bachelor of Organizational Behavior from Miami University of Ohio.
